PRACTICUM TEACHERS

The school supports several practicum teachers each year. We will accept placements pending class availability.  If you are a Pre-service teacher and would like to complete your practicum at our school, we encourage your institution to get in contact with us.

EDUCATION ASSISTANT WORK PLACEMENTS

The school supports a small number of Education Assistant placements each year. We have many requests to complete Education Assistant Work Placements (100 hours). Unfortunately, we cannot meet all of these requests and ask you include a copy of your CV, with your career goals, in your request.

WORK EXPERIENCE STUDENTS

The school accepts a small number of work-experience students each year, in the school library or in classrooms.

Please include as much detail as possible, including the practicum requirements, key dates, and why you wish to complete your practicum at Piara Waters Primary School.

As the number of applications is greater than the places we can offer, we want to ensure we provide an opportunity to applicants that best meet the needs of our students and school community.

We do not currently accept any practicum or work experience placements if the applicant has a sibling or child at our school.

Please note that you must have a valid Working With Children Check card prior to completing your placement.
