National Science Week - Day 1

The was a lot of Science fun around the school today, from special classroom activities to collaborative learning between year levels and exciting lunch time activities.

 

The Year 1 students were making balloon rockets during their Science lesson.

 

The Year 3 and and Pre-primary students shared the story 'Possum Magic' by Mem Fox. Then, they went on to explore how AI technology works using 'Quick, Draw!'

 

The Year 6 students learnt the science behind the fizz found in some lollies. They then went on to make fizzing mixtures for some lucky Junior students, who got to taste the creations during lunch using lollipops.
