International Day of Women and Girls in Science Poster Competition Winners
In conjunction with the recent International Women and Girls in Science Day, a poster design competition was organised in our school from Years 2 to 6.
Following a lesson on a notable female scientist, students were encouraged to research further about that female scientist or any other famous female scientist and creatively design a poster featuring their chosen scientist.
It was encouraging to receive submissions from both girls and boys featuring famous female scientists from a range of fields. These wonderful posters are on display in the front office and library over the next two weeks for everyone to view and admire.
