PWPS Concert and Book Awards 2024
PWPS CONCERT 2024
The PWPS Concert is for all students in Kindergarten to Year 6 and their families.
Students are to be on the oval seated in their classroom groups and ready for the concerts to start.
- Kindy students will meet their teachers next to the stage at 4:20pm. They will then get on the stage ready to start at 4:30pm and wait in the shade of the stage.
- Pre-primary to Year 2 students will be seated with their teachers by 4:30pm, in front of the stage.
- Year 3 to 6 students will be seated with their teachers in front of the stage by 6:20pm.
The classroom seating area will be marked, and staff will assist in guiding.
Parents, families, friends and community find a spot behind the classroom seating and pull up a rug, picnic blanket, or some camping chairs, and get ready for the Concert (it’s bring your own seats).
Visibility, seating, photography and respect for others
- Please be respectful of our students and talk in between items and presentations.
- We will have two photographers who will take lots of photos. There will also be a video of each performance. Links to these will be shared to year level groups in the days following the concert.
- Please do not stand up (unless no one is behind you) and block the view of others.
- There will be a small area to the side of the stage marked “Photo area”. If you wish to stand in this area during your child’s item you can.
- Immediately behind the student area will be a “low seating zone” for picnic rugs and very low back chairs.
- Behind the “low seating zone” will be a high back seats zone.
- There will be tents located around the oval to provide shade shelter for families. If families are bringing their own shade, please make sure if does not obstruct the view of others.
Social stories have been written to help students prepare for the End of Year concert and Book Awards. They can be found here:
