PAT Grammar and Punctuation Assessment (Year 3-Year 6)

Piara Waters Primary School

All students in Year 3 - 6 will complete the PAT Grammar and Punctuation assessment during Week 3, from Monday 12 May – Friday 16 May. These tests are designed to assist teachers in their assessment of student’s understanding of the Standard Australian English language conventions of grammar and punctuation and will provide valuable data for planning at an individual, classroom and whole school level. 

There is no need for children to be concerned about this test and no preparation is required.

Kindy Mother's Day Activities - Group A

To help us celebrate Mother’s Day, you are invited to our classroom for a special activity session on Monday 12 May, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. 

Aunties or Grandmas are welcome to join if you are unavailable on the day. Be prepared to have lots of hands-on fun with your child. If possible, please find alternative care for siblings to allow you to spend quality time with your Kindy child. 

Please enter through the gate next to the basketball courts, which will be open for mums to enter between 1:30 pm and 1:35 pm. If you arrive after this time, you will need to enter via the front office. 

Please bring the Parent Volunteer form with you.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask your child's classroom teacher. 

Running Club

Running Club is open to all students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Come along and join running club every Tuesday morning in term 2 and 3. 

Parents and siblings are welcome.

Pre-primary History Incursion

Piara Waters Primary School

Students in Pre-primary will participate in a free incursion, provided by the City of Armadale History House Museum staff.

They will learn about items and games from the past. This is part of their History Curriculum.
